ok so i bought this MHG off aguy on here who just torqued it down on his motor before selling it.
There are some spots where the Viton came off around the cylinder bores and i was wondering if that would cause any problems.
Do you think i should just take it all off and copper spray it? or...

Yes cause I'm not on factory power. My Bearing / piston to cylinder clearances are not what stock is cause I'm going to be pushing way more power than what the TSRM goes by.
Just wondering if anyone had bigger clearances for a higher HP engine.
Got the answer on SF within an hour. Lol but for anyone who searches this, 1 thousandth is pretty much the max you want for the wrist pin clearance.

ok so i just stopped at my machinist shop and he says that my #6 piston Wrist pin hole is 1 thousandths to big for his liking. He says normally he likes to have them at about 1 thousandth clearance alone, and i guess the 1 piston is around 2 thousandth clearance between the wrist pin and wrist...
Very cool! I've never heard of a supra going into the 9s with only 500 whp. But if you mess with the gearing and get a nice stall maybe and your at 3000 lbs maybe. Lol

youve gotta kinda worry about power to get to your goal. 750 rwhp should get you into the 9s wth the auto.

Yea use the GM sensor. I used it in Blow through and had the sensor after my BOV towards the TB. This allowed a lot quicker spool up and venting the BOV to the atmosphere.
