From what I can tell your brake is dragging and you're just moving the hub while the rotor stays stationary. (That's not abnormal motion) Bearing play usually shows in side to side motion. Remove the caliper, the rotor and show us the hub movement.

When you're spinning wrenches for a living, or racing cars, and a cheap one breaks and it costs you $100+ in downtime, blowing a deadline on a customers car, or you lose a race because of it, you tend to reevaluate that... :D

Exactly. An FCD is a band-aid. If you need think you need one, you've got bigger problems. 20 years ago, there were few choices and even less knowledge about how these systems worked. Today, there's no excuse for it.

That's where I'm coming from. FC is your ECU's way of telling you you're pushing it too far. As I've stated elsewhere, fuel cut is like a rev limiter. Completely removing it is, in my opinion, a fools errand.

A fuel cut defender is a way to mask that your tuner has given you an overly aggressive or bad tune, or a tune that is beyond the capability of the current engine management, it's a recipe for disaster...

I honestly don't know. Kimber lists the Ultra Carry II as 4.75" high, 6.8" long and 1.28" wide (entire gun, assembled). That help at all? I've always wanted to pick up a Kimber, but every time I have one in my hands I think of something else I could do with that $1400+ and wind up putting it back.
