I can honestly say that every single person I have taken to the range as a "first time shooter" has become a gun owner and regular shooter. Even people who were pretty "anti-gun" before they had ever fired one.
In fact, 99% of the anti-gun people I've ever met have never fired or owned one...

My last range trip lasted one and...
