The side trim on my car, its got some clear rubber molding over it and on the back its coming off, will it look like shit if I take that off or will it look somewhat like later model MKIIIs where there wasnt any anyways?
Or point me in a direction? Yes its old, we just got it from a co worker for cheap and it was working fine, then friday, suddenly it just doesnt work anymore, does NOT turn on, wont work at all, cant figure out why, can anyone help?

It STILL idles high, and a little rough AND NOW it idles at 1250....
I fixed all my current coolant leaks, new valve cover gaskets with grey RTV to seal the deal, new wires and plugs, and its still givin me shit...

OK I believe my TPS is ok bc when I have the car running and I unplug it, the idle jumps down for a split second then goes back to 1100 rpms.
The car, after starting, idles at 900 or so then after driing a few moments stays atound 1000 - 1200 sometimes.
I checked the TPS with a multimeter...
Is it worth it for my N/A? I plan on going NA-T or GTE sometime within this next year or 2, but aside from that, is this system worth ANYTHING on my car now? What are the gains I will see?

Ok even after I fixed my timing on my car the car starts, idles around 750 or so (its advanced 14*) but after driving even a few feet, idles back to 900 - 1000, and then after about 10 mins of driving stays around 900.... stilll... so I was running the car here at work at idle and i pulled off...
