Yeah I saw that, yeah this paint option is probably one if the rarest it was only offered in 1988 and was optional according to the brochure you had to order one from the dealer. What's the build date on yours and the last six digits on your vin #?
Im guessing they remove the box sheild on the inside and use those reflectors on the bulb half itself. That does help quite a bit explains why the blinders arent on JDM/Euro foglamps. So then i guess its also safe to assume the blinders have to be present if those sheilds on the bulb holder...

there are only 300 2001 Cobra R mustangs around, but the rims on those are 18's and look way different.
So confirmed that JDM/Euro Foglamps have the the metal box (blinders) on the inside. The Austrailian market fogs are driving lamps (no blinders) rather than foglamps.

From what i can see the lenses themselves arent any different
