Please put it back, It was way the hell over my head, however I was doing the nessesary research to understand what you were trying to tell me...(andothers)
Will you tell me why please? I'd like to have all input possible, but I probally couldnt' understand fluid mechanics even if I did read the book ;)
The input from you guys is really making me thing I'll just do the Q45, specially since its not too difficult to wire up. I like instant...
If I were going to go F.F.I.M then I would want a new throttle body. The Q45 is great but I think its a bit too big for my needs. Unless someone can convince me otherwise :)
My goal is a low 12 second quarter. About 400 HP or so? MAX
I'm going to be running 550's, probably a MAFT Pro (or...
A 200 Piece toolkit (She wanted it)
An MP3 player
A nice watch (not a 23098471 thousand dollar one)
A memory card
Something else, but I can't remember what.
I need a new intercooler. I don't want one of those huge 12 inch tall ones, i'd like to stay around 7 inches or so high. I'd like about 2.5-3 inch inlet/outlet and as long as nessesary.
outlets on each side, for a ffim, and capable of at MOST 450-500
any suggestions? I checked eBay...
Sonofabitch that's big, if its a 90mm. I want a FFIM but I don't think I want a TB that big!
What are some other options for TB's that aren't quite that big? Maybe 2.75 or so?
Hey they make this one too, that looks like one I'd prefer to use anyway.

Thanks for the help, I'm terrible at searching for shit.
Does anyone see any reason that gauge I linked too would NOT work?
Edit: I...
Thank you! How did you find that info? I just spend 30 minutes thumbing through my TSRM for the answer...
I saw that programable one, I figured thats what I'd have to use. That's fine with me :)
Are there any aftermarket gauges that will work on the factory resistance spec of the level sender? And preferably the warning light?
DOES THAT MAKE SENSE!?!?
Thanks,
Justin :)
^^^ Elaborate
I totally believe you man, but I was refering to a RonR style custom one. So that answers the ISC question, it'll just go on the bottom unseen!
back to the dashpot... even just on a stock intake mani, are you saying you run without one with no side effects?
kiwk, your car is...
Eh, I'm refering to a custom manifold :) It needs to be welded in I imagine?
Is that true on a stock manifold as well? I've heard both accounts I guess... some say yes, some say no! :)
Yah.
If I remember correctly, brown is ground, grey is accessory, and blue with yellow is constant.
again, if i remember right, there's a fuse under the hood as well, don't forget to check that :)
First:
If the dashpot is a nessesary device to make the car not die when let off the throttle suddently do the throttle bodies that go on the front facing intakes have those built in?
Second:
If there's no ISC on the manifold is there any way to make the car idle on a Maft Pro...
