I dont know where you are located but I have an 88 front bumper, support bar ( crush bar ) and foam pad sitting in the basement. Come and get them if you are anywhere near Clarksville TN and they are yours. I have been wanting to get rid of them for quite a while now since I took my last one to...
My Toyota parts guy here in Clarksville says that the hood liner is now discontinued, and unable to purchase. But you can still get the clips to hold it in place.

Same here for my 90 after I work this contract. Getting paint done in the engine bay and the exterior. Going to pull the 2J out just to have the bay done right and then after cleaning it up all pretty, going to put the new hood fire blanket on there.
Ok here is what I did. I purchased a vacuum block from Ebay. Cost me less then $30. It has maybe 6 ports on it?! I ran my AFPR to it's own port on the manifold, and then one of the other large ports on the manifold to the vac block. Then you can run what you want to the block. I am currently...
might have been easier and faster to find the instal instructions online. Everyone on here is correct with the wiring but would have saved you time and trouble to just google the directions. I have to update my Adobe shit but I think this is what you need...
Dont bother tracing wires yet until you just look at the ECU. if the caps are leaking ( which if IIRC 1Js are notorious for it) then you either need a new ECU or send it in to Aaron at Drift Motion and have him rebuild it.
Also does the exhaust smell kind of sweet? if so, and the rear cover was not done with the block then you are possibly burning coolant since the head didnt seal right on the block
the white smoke is not the burning of the moisture from the BHG, it was decked and hot tanked......there better not be anything left in there from the BHG. Did you make sure the rings were staggered? a video might make it easier to distinguish what exactly you mean by a lot of smoke. Also did...
Well since I will be up in the area towards the end of march, I would love to meet up and check out some of the cars there. I miss being back home in the downriver area.
Boost and wideband in a Lotek dual pillar pod, water temp going in cig lighter spot, and above the glove box in the grate area where the cabin temp sensor is, is where I will be mounting my AVCR. Fits perfect in there. Just have to trim the plastic to fit and use double sided tape and the cord...
Not a big deal if he runs out. He gave up the Mercedes part number in the listing. All you would have to do is contact a benz stealership and give them the part number. He is probably a service tech or one of the parts guys trying to make a few extra bucks. Can't rightly say I blame him either...
I will be in the downriver area March 23-27. Visiting family for a few days, then heading back down to TN. I unfortunately won't be in my Supra though. I finally got my hands a 1990 2JZ swapped Supra that needed more work then I bargained for. After about 2k worth of custom parts and about 40+...
Ok I'm tossing the BS flag on this......for one, your GUY, does he offer a lifetime warranty? If anything goes wrong he will skype with the buyer to help them troubleshoot it and if it still is fubar then he will custom make another one and send it back out free of charge? Doubt it.....So that...
The whole dust and swirl marks and scratches is the reason I am going to have my red one repainted the same as my last one. Factory color too....Deep Blue Metallic.
<----------It's over there :icon_bigg it was sitting for about 3 months when that pic was taken. So that is 3 months of TN dust.
