Just replaced it ForcedTorque you were right i didnt have to take out the motor, the nylon cord is just screwed onto the Mast took 20min tops to replace, now it works fine included a little video if anybody might be confused as to how to replace it.
was thinking about it theres another video of someone doing the same procedure on a SC300, but i may just go the safe route and remove the whole thing.
$39 prolly wouldve been cheaper had i went to Champion but eh whatever.

my antenna on the supra only goes up half way and stops I noticed that the middle section (part that's stuck is bent) so is it possible to just replace the rod and not the entire antenna assembly? I can get a video later showing you what I mean by stuck.
Thanks

I havent put my H&R's on yet but has anyone had sucess bringing the cars alignment back into spec with H&R's i know ill prolly have to get aftermarket rear camber arms
My guess would be Canada (would have a km/h speedo) or the Europe (UK has a mph speedo dunno if the oil pressure gauge is in kg/cm or not) or maybe it was a patch job (took the gauge from a Canadian cluster and put it in)?
And i run a 1qt over never hurts to have extra piece of mind.
that headgasket doesnt look like an Original Toyota gasket, looks like a replacement Felpro or Stone headgasket. Looks like it either blew the HG or was replaced at some point in its life.
i dont think any USA cars got kg/cm gauges, my stock one responds pretty quick once its running. Not as fast as aftermarket but it doesnt seem all that bad.
