    There are two different bases for coolants, I believe. You cannot mix the two as I have seen them get all mucky once heat gets to it.

    When you bring the valve cover to the machine shop, bring the fitting for the AN size you are going to use to the machine as well. I assume you will use NPT thread on the valvecover side, have them tap it to the bottom, I have seen it tapped and there is a space left and it looks bad. :(

    You are smart. There is a thread showing why but honestly, I am too lazy to dig it up for the OP. Just remember, the design was meant for red, why be cheap and use other coolant.

    It's the common thing among members here. 3 inch is sufficient in lower power levels. I see no reason for a 4 inch if you are making below 500-600HP.
