buy some piping, not that expensive to get some cheap piping from an auto parts store, 10ft of straight piping 3'' runs me 30 bux. Redo that exhaust, i would be afraid of the exhaust temps melting that thing
Very true, be sure to have the battery tested when you replace the alt to make sure it is still good.
You can buy them new IIRC, i know of a parts store that sells new alternators & starters. The difference is great when it comes to pricing though.
I don't see the issue with remote starts on 5 speed cars as long as you don't park with it in gear and forget. I never park my car in gear, even on an incline. I simply park, turn the wheel so the tire touches the curb and can hold the car then apply the emergency brake. I do not have a remote...
IIRC, go to the auto store give them this number 6pk1890 as he stated above. 6 RIB belt and the 1890 is the size IIRC, i cant remember what it is =/ but if he says its what he got n it works give it a try.

The hydro pump & p/s pump need a cooler.
I've read and heard not running a cooler will overheat the p/s pump n kill it. A simple rail cooler or small trans cooler will suffice.
Also before you start the engine up make sure you have fluid for the p/s pump & hydro fan. Put atf fluid in do not...
