how much you need and what size? I am an electrician working as a contractor for DynCorp overseas.....So I have access to damn near any size and amount of wire you need.
If it is still messing up when I get home on July 2nd then I will bring my 2J Supra over and we can compare wires. I know it is a different car, but it is the same motor.
Bryan, there is nothing wrong with the guy asking questions before he gets the motor. A lot of people do it. It's called planning ahead. If he knows of a good shop, then when he gets his motor, he already knows where to take it. Instead of hoping someone will come in and answer a week or two...
I will have to get in touch with you off of this site if that is cool with you once I get home in the beginning of July when I decide to start on this same project.
Hey man I will pay for the entire trip too! Let me find my Monopoly game and grab a few $500 pieces out of it. Oh and the get out of jail free card. lol.
Back to a serious topic now, If you had to guess how much time and cash has gone into this project.
Auto Zone has them. When I had a 7M I had to replace mine twice. So I know they have them. Wait.....it was either them or Advanced.....hell I can't remember. But one of them has them.
yeah.........and seeing that mess is the reason I have not even attempted it yet. I will though when I get home, and after replacing the shocks, brakes ( rotors and pads all around) steering rack, and downpipe ( so I can finally put my NuR spec on this 2J)...... Then I might have to hire this...
Ok so I got my Supra with the swap already done from another member on here. My question is, what sensors and other parts from the engine bay can I get rid of to clean up the bay so I can do a wire tuck? Nothing is really upgraded other then the single instead of the twins. It had a 7MGTE in...
If any of us knew the car, then we would be able to help you answer this. If the car is not having any issues then what is the problem? I had my old blue Supra for 2 weeks before I shipped it from Germany to US. Then I drove it from St Louis down to Clarksville TN.....a few days later turned...
If you have been to the exhaust to look at it again, you should have gotten a much larger pic of it. Then this problem would have been solved already. We can all guess for another few weeks, but until you get a larger pic, this is a useless game.
Not to sound like a dick here Moy but if it said that.....I doubt he would have made this thread.
OP- Most of the higher dollar exhausts ie; HKS, Blitz, Apexi, even Megan, usually have the names stamped somewhere on the muffler. If there is nothing on it, chances are it is a ebay knock-off.
I foresee this becoming a sticky thread in the very near future. Man to be honest, instead of taking requests, you might as well upload what you can. Or else you will be swarmed with people wanting things and wanting them right then and there. You might want to make a folder for different things...
Then brother it sounds to me like you need 2 things.....
1. As stated above, have a bead welded onto the IC inlet and outlet.
2. Throw those pos t-clamps in the trash and get some quality ones.
I had the same issue you are having when I put my T70 on. Then I realized the clamps are some remake...
