but anyway here are some neat choices IMO

i would to. it would give me an escuse to keep the stock ride-height :biglaugh: :evil2: plus i would hate slowing down for little bumps and stuff like entrances to parking lots. thats one reason i wanted to get a truck (but instead got a car that just happened to have a truck's clearance)...
so does anyone know if i can do all this on my 7mge tranny? i think with a glance i found the plates but it looks like a weird angle that might not work out too well for me. i forgot the name of the 7mge tranny...that's what i have. at least i don't THINK it's a r154.
red shit is probably some sort of thread lock. maybe it just clogs the threads or it reacts to heat when the car is used and locks up.
so you still have a knock? maybe your main crank pulley is loose!? check it.
or are you saying you fixed it but it was actually your flywheel?
can that be...
well i dont know which bearings usually fail all i know is one of the bearings in there go bad. if you mean mains by crank bearings i'm not worried about those. but there's something....
i'll get the car up on jacks again this weekend for a look-see at my clutch. i hope it's an easy fix...
WOW i hope so. i'll have such a nicer time with my supra if i can enjoy spirited driving without worrying about completely spinning a bearing....
where shall i look for the inspection plate(s)? do i need to take any precautions, or is it just a metal plate with no seals or fluids or things...
access cover???
can i do anything without a ton of work under the car? do i have to remove the tranny?
i'd TOTALLY see... because man it only makes noise sometimes. its consistent but sometimes she revs smooth as butter. then sometimes it will feel really rough like something is loose.
not...
wow...that sucks. but yeah at least you have peace of mind on the rods....and one was outta spec right? i say good for you!
so is this pressure plate problem common? is there any way to differentiate between a problem with it and a problem with rods?
i have excessive vibration sometimes...
ok, well i'm pretty certain (going from memory) that i don't have the cali cat. is this going to be a big problem when it comes time to smog my car if i sell it?
uhm...does anyone have or can take a picture of the california cat? the other one is obvious i can see it. i'll have a look at my...
CALI SPEC!? crap....
ok so how can i determine if mine IS or is NOT cali spec'd? because my car is from Washington and i think the previous seller pulled some strings on smog. from what i remember i only have one cat...
and how do you know if a cat is clogged? thanks.
