are geo's any good? i was curious to find out if you could rip the front end out of one and use the engine, tranny, arms/cv shafts in a home built dune buggy or gokart....
on the main topic - what kind of reliable hp can you glean out of those without getting horrible gas mileage or blowing it...
so which lexus cars share the design and such of a supra? there's a lexus that has a supra chassis and a n/a supra engine or can TAKE a 2j at least..right?

wow...i never thought much about becoming a welder. I love building and designing things... i'm currently an environmental resources engineering major... but this welding idea sounds cool. is it a pretty stable thing to go into with good job opportunities?

and that last photo...IS where it is leaking from... at least it looks fairly clean around those drops and it dripped once when i was looking at it... i'm fairly confident there is a hole there...

ok i have pics. it is her tranny, and she did dent the oil/fluid pan pretty badly, here are pics. it's dripping a good bit but still holding fluid. not sure how much i pulled the dipstick out and it read full but it was on a slight slope and that doesnt even really matter as the...

I have a friend that i've been helping, she knows jack about cars frankly. well i've checked the fluids and helped her out a bit, and just recently she hit a rock slide and has a problem i'm going to go check out tomorrow...
she says it rides rough and once when she pressed the gas it revved...
that's a great question....but then again...it was built to compete right? BMW, nissan...they had sporty cars too... the celica lead up to the supra. it wasn't out of nowhere.

count me in. *covers face* i'm not sure i'm familliar with the level of argument on this one but I agree that the pre-89 front looks meaner and that's the right word for it. I do like the 89+ front end a lot but if you have a black or dark colored car and want it to look badass the pre 89...
