WOW! congrats buddy! Family first..that's what's up. Enjoy the new baby project. I Am sorry to see the soup cancelled, but i understand...plus i know you got other projects..lol
Do the bc272 make it an interference engine...and if so do you have to upgrade the timing belt tensioner like on the 2jz? I went with the bc264 but I also installed the titan billet tensioner. Your parts list is pretty good so far. Keep it up
Easier said than done...lol. still waiting on parts...an some small stuff..plus the turbo has to be sent out for a rebuild...I am taking donations...lmaol!
A 7m lsd diff will be ok...just rebuild it. As for which 7m diff to use.....the 3:91 is a happy medium for city/ highway driving, for better fuel economy and extended driving situations etc....countty...the 3:73 would be my choice ( lower rpms cruising) . The n/a LSD version is better for drag...
Been busy working overtime....so I can finish my swap before your first meet. Haven't really have time to hang out with anybody. This swap is expensive as hell! Been meaning to drop by the shop...I was just too damn tired. I thougjt about the 350 swap for mu mk3 but I am way over budget...lol.
Good luck with the mk4 upgrades. You might want to look into the 6speed 350z trans from 06 an up. They r supposed to hold alot of power....an the trans is said to be cheap.
Oh...ok. now i'm stoked to finish this project. My budget won't allow for the 3.5 exhaust at the moment....will try to make the 3 inch work. I will be keeping an eye on your ride. I was told that the Holsets hit hard when they come into boost...i am looking forward to that feeling..lol!
Simply awesome! I am in the process of doing an Aristo 2jz swap into my 87 mk3. I am also going to be using the HX52 billet turbo. I already have BC264 cams and upgraded the fuel system minus the injectors. I will be on a Haltech standalone ecu. I was curious to know if you were using a 3in down...
Chris... I want to see no less than 500whp! I feel that it has the goods to ger there. Keep us posted....I am anxious to see the outcome. Good luck buddy.
