I know, it is sad. More like frustrating. I plan on continuing to look for a Supra though. I know a place where I can get a deal on a good running non-turbo Supra....but I am not sure about going the non-turbo route...any opinions?

This thread is old, but I thought I would let you all know that I will not be working on the car....I figured since the car was absolutely free, and I went through the hassle of going to pick it up, my dad would let me work on it. But NO, he will hear nothing of it, and he is going to sell it...

Okay, i think i am going to resurrect the engine in it. If its rod knock, what i need to know is what/where can i get the parts i will need? Complete gasket set, rod bearings, etc. I am new to the rebuild engine thing and i need all the help i can get. I did do the search, but its hard to find...

Scratch that...it is a Targa, i dont know what i was saying hardtop for. I talked to my dad when he got home from work, and a guy who works for him said he will recover the leather seats for me...its a start!
