My machine shop checked the main bores with the arp studs installed and found the bore became "egg shaped" A Line bore basically machines the bores until they are back to spec with the ARP studs installed. Like Hvyman just explained.
if youre leaking refrigerant then youre also losing oil which is also not good. charging it is fine if you want to spend the money only to have it leak out again. by r12 alternative I assume you mean hydrocarbon gas. it works although it may not be legal where you are.
No refrigerant, no pressure, no ac. However the fact you have no pressure means you have a leak and if was working a year ago it seems like you have a serious leak. Time to replace everything.
Its a tad too thick. Is a bit of a bear to install and remove if you have too. Thats about it. Im running a Mishimoto unit which is similar to the CX Racing
