so my recently purchased 1jz supra is having a bit of a problem, it over heats about as fast as it boosts :(. and after i shut it off steaming coolant sprays from somewhere near the turbo, im guessing the thermostat is stuck any tips on what it could be or how to take out the thermostat without...

i believe the car was originally an auto 7mge now its a 1jz 5 speed but how do i tell which tranny is it r154 or w58 thanks.

well its definatly off the track and ima try to get it on but i tested the switch, its fine but when i press it down i can barely hear the buzz of the motor attempting to spin but no movement at all, btw i also need a new windshield lemme know have one, thanks

Just bought a 89 1jz 5speed targa hks sport turbo supra and the drivers window doesnt roll up, looks like it fell off the track and the motor is shot, is there anyway to manually get the window to go up and does anyone have a window motor for sale. thanks

i know a few people that will smog me no problems. is th 1jz just as prone to BHG's as the 7m?

Ive been looking to buy a supra for some time now, i was focused on getting a 7m but i came across a 89 1jz swaped mkiii and before buying i wanted to know if you guys had any tips on buying a supra with a 1jz, is it much different than the 7m and how are the hks sport twin turbos. thanks alot.
