To change the shifter, he does need to pull the radio console out, but after that it is just the 4 bolts and the boot.

How does the coil packs connectors look? are they in properly> No corrosion etc?

IN the SAFC-II, use the t-10 pinouts from the Toyota list to make your connections. Just remember, 1jz uses the Map or Pressure sensor not the flapper type sensor. In the diagrams, I think they use the terms kinda interchangeably. Just make sure to use the correct sensor wire...

Yup, they are very bright and are jdm. The bulb that is in use ( it came that way) has a pearl look to it, so when the light shines, it also has a nice pearl yellow color....

MDC sells the 02 sensors for the 7ms. They worked on my 91, so it should work on the 1jz as well. Just need to wire in to the 1jz plug, just I had to do for the 7m.
