    Crankshaft Knife-Edging

Never had it done nor known anyone who has but in theory, its a very good thing. Knife edging does 3 great things. 1. Reduces rotating inertia making the motor lighter and making it easier for the crank to turn. 2. Makes the crank more aerodynamic inside the crankcase cutting down on drag as it...

claim a new wiring harness because "The plug is not replacable from toyota, The whole wiring harness has to be replaced" send quotes for a new wiring harness and knock sensor, and get a retail price on the lcd. Fax all of those and tell them you are willing to settle for less than the whole of...

    wieght reduction diehards..

The stock hood isnt as heavy as it looks.. im guessing between 20 and 25 lbs. Its just awkward to pick up alone because of how big it is. Granted shaving 10 lbs or so off the front wouldnt hurt, but going cf and spendin all that money for 10 lbs is hardly worth it

    255 front fitment??

9" is plenty for a 255, i have 255's in the rear on sawblades and 245's up front. Edit: i guess it matters though that theyre a big profile 255 and 245, both 60 profile

    got an idea

test pipe=cheap test pipe=bolt on bolt off ticket for no cat=replace test pipe with cat welded pipe=womp womp my opinion, spend the 40 bux or so for the test pipe and incase you choose to or need to opt back to a cat, buy a 3" high flow cat in the future... It also makes it simpler if you...

    wieght reduction diehards..

I think the better idea would be better weight ratio.. The mk3 is already a decently proportioned 55%front 45% rear... by taking some weight from the front such as the battery, and relocating it to the rear, and doing things like a lighter driveshaft and lighter seats will take middle weight...

    '20 sec search'

Searching benifits you because you can see a few different ways that the subject was approached rather than starting a whole other approach. If the work was already done, by several people asking the question and hundreds answering, then why do people need to take the time out of their day to...

Anyone ever had issues with champion spark plugs?

an instructor of mine @ school told us that champions were the worst thing to ever happen to spark plugs... he doesnt even trust them to a lawnmower. He said if NGK did his domestic applications he would use NGK's... swears by them. As do I.

Use propane instead of C02? Just a thought...

propane does get cool when it goes from high pressure to low, and it COULD theoretically be used in an AC system due to its very low boiling point like r134 refrigerant has, BUT its not used for it because if you crash your car that wouldnt be good. Any gas with a low boiling point or...
