6 speed's gear ratios will fucking suck unless you swap out the diff as well...
might as well stick with the R154 (your current tranny if you're stick) and swap out the bell housing off a 1JZ-GTE (2.5L of the same engine, but it uses the 7MGTE turbo tranny as well)..
the GS/SC300 non-VVTi 2JZ's had 225 hp, the N/A MKIV came with 220hp, and the IS300 2JZ (VVTi only) came with 215hp...
not sure what the vvti-equipped SC/GS300's had, or the 98 VVTi N/A MKIV had...
probably very similar numbers, but you never know...
I wanna go 2JZ-GTE or nothing...
I don't want to have to deal with buying a 7MGTE, rebuilding it, finding all the misc. parts, changing out my tranny (pretty sure my W58 wont last long with boost), and then having it installed, and worrying whether or not BHG or RK will get to it...

I notice it's a 91, did the airbag go off..?
if so, that's why the insurance company wants to total it...
sorry to hear about this, there are some dumb-asses out there, and unfortunately you ran into (no pun intended) one...
nope, they're all cut off, since California doesn't sell catalytic converters...
The oxygen sensor has the harness and plug attached, that's not the problem, there's just nowhere to plug it into...
TSRM doesn't help....
Depends, I snagged a 1989 (my year) owner's manual for my Supra so it's perfect for me..
however, there are slight changes in the years, so best would be to get the manual for your specific year, but I'm guessing only maybe 5% of the content is changed...
where does the other harness come out from? I'm probably going to the junkyard tomorrow, but usually they're all pre 89's...
if it's the same harness, I can just snatch it, and spice it in...
I respect the fact that you wanted to stay original and support the companies, but it's just not economical for North Americans when it comes to Supras..
I have the plug and harness for the 2nd O2 sensor, but it is just hanging there. I see no place where it can plug in, and my header/exhaust (save the catback) are original.
okay, well it's a single plug hanging, and I have no idea where it connects to...
on the TSRM it says it connects to the ECU, but the harness isnt long enough, not by a long shot...
Hey guys, my car keeps pulling up code 27..
It used to display code 26 also, but I changed the oxygen sensor (wire was f-ed)..
I checked the codes, and it says code 27 is the sub-02 sensor..
I know it's a California thing, but I thought my car only had one? Where's the 2nd?
I also searched...
