The dots merely indicate the type of insulation used and are not for wire identification. Only the base color and stripe color (if present) are used.
suprastanger507mgte, the Tach output wire is the black wire on the 4-pin igniter plug. This isn't speculation or a guess, that IS the tach...
The tach signal definitely is on the smaller igniter plug, and as far as I've ever seen, is black.
If you have a non-turbo tach, then you will need a tach adapter unit. We carry these in stock.

A lot of people have great success turbocharging the 2JZGE. Just a random factoid.
You would need a full wiring conversion for that to work as well, just FYI.

To trace out the battery drain, disconnect one of the battery cables and then put a test light between it and the terminal. Then start pulling fuses, one by one, until the test light goes off. That will narrow down the circuit to find the problem. Once you get that narrowed down, you can unplug...
