I'm not sure why they were flat black, the guy I bought the car from painted them so I don't know how they were painted. CK, I'm over black wheels (except for one kind :love: ) it's all about gunmetal now for me.

You want to shim the wastegate when you are running higher boost, so the boost doesn't fall off at redline. I know when my car was running, I had my MBC set at 12psi, it would fall off to about 10 at redline. If you shim the wastegate it makes it stiffer so it holds the boost better and doesn't...

Haha, thanks SS. My old car had the black sawblades, the new car has them painted gunmetal. Black sawblades on a red car would look good, I think. The paint on them on my old car sucked, they were flat black. It would have looked so much better if they had been glossier. Oh well, I put them on...

I just sanded mine with I can't remember the grit right now, but it wasn't to high. Then sprayed on some gunmetal wheel ppaint I bought, then let that dry and clear coated them. Not the best job, but they look good.
