uhhh depending on the year your gona need mounts BIC makes them also downpipe and youll have to extend the wiring harness

ok so my 89 cressida had 286,975 miles with no major engine work yea good shit. But last week it started up and had a rod knock or possibly a spun bearing , i was to busy with the 1jz so i pushed it to the side, but sat team TRD was over and i showed them the knock and i was like fuck it and...

OK i wanna kno since i had to take off my fuel dampner for the bic mounts on my 1jz swap if it would easier and better to put it some were else or bypass it any suggestions ? also whats the purpose of the dampner ?
