    the pilot shaft from the trans runs down the center of the throwout bearing so uneven pressure from the fork wouldnt effect the bearing at all as its a somewhat precision slip fit around the shaft of the trans...the pressure plate would never know the difference.... as far as the blazer...

    If it's rpm dependent then it's either the pp or the flywheel....hate to say this Adam but the trans needs to come out....odds are that it wasn't the fork that caused this..this caused the fork to fail me thinks. Buy your brothers mustang cause supras just don't likes you:-(

    suspension is to keep tires in contact with the road and to absorb bumps......subframe bushings are to absorb twisting motions and shock to the body as well as reduce vibration that rattles the car. they have a purpose and solid aluminum is not a good idea!

    I see alot of confusion in this thread...BOTH block AND head need to be decked to an RA spec desired from the headgasket mfg! If the head hasn't been decked then I'm 100% sure that the gasket surface is warped out of spec which can cause sealing issues with both type gaskets. You can get...
