If you are shooting for 400-450, you need to be going AT LEAST 550's. With over 400hp, running 440's would be pushing it on the edge, therefore losing performance. Well, if you watch my 60-100 video in the "Videos" section, you'll see that it pulls pretty hard, and it shifts into 4th at about 102-3, and as soon as it shifts itself into 4th, immediately, the CEL flicks on for not even 2 seconds, and it has a little tug, then it goes away and continues to...

Well, any other gears and between shifts, its fine. Smooth, holds constant boost, but its only shifting into 4th(right about 100mph), it just pulls a little. Checked the ECU, no codes at all. Like I said, it flashes CEL directly after it goes INTO 4th, it doesn't hesitate to go into 4th, but...

Very nice! Spinning tires like crazy off launch and still running a low 13. What turbo are you running? That's a lot of spool.:)

Just from past experience, that sounds like an alternator. Giving it that sudden jolt and dimming would lead you to think it was some sort of wire shorting out or loose but I've had problems like this with 3 different cars, all turning out to be an alternator going bad.
