sorry, but are you guys talking about aligning all the timing up then setting the crank at 14' instead of the suggested factory 10'? Im rebuilding my head and when everything goes back on hell Ill try this, I run premium anyways so it wont be a problem.

u checked your valves? Im pulling apart my head bc I had the same problem, didnt go as far as you to make sure it wasnt rod knock but pull off the head and check your valves.
