Mine did not sound like the sound clip posted either, and mine sounded like what your describing. Does it get louder the higher the rpms? But seriously take off the intake and check for shaft play...- TurboFreak

If your on a really tight budget just get another used one and make sure it doesnt have alot of shaft play.. If you got a lil money then go and upgrade it for sure. MDCMotorsports FTW!!- TurboFreak
