i have a supra ecu, and no ecu plugs for the soarer. im negotiating with the company right now to try to get a complete soarer harness.
the thing that sucks is i have bought a pre made supra harness, already extended set up for 550;s
my engine came with a cut wiring harness. so what i need to do is keep the supra plugs on the ECU side, and put in the soarer ones on the engine side?
sorry if these seem like dumb questions. but i'm new to the wiring harness thing.
so i finally got my 1jz. only thing is i was told it was going to be strait out of a supra. i got it, and from what i can tell it was out of an auto tranny soarer.
but just to make sure, it has a fan and clutch on it, which means that it is a soarer engine. right? I've never seen a hydrofan...
well, for one thing, its gonna take a lot of work to put the 6 spd into the MKIII. the getrag doesn't fit in the mkiii tranny tunnel. and the shifter is located a bit further aft.

before my supra i owned a 1993 celica gts, and i did alot of research. to fit any kind of rear wheel drive engine in the car, it would cost just short of 10,000. in my opinion way more than it was worth. so i just bought a real nice supra for much less than that. besides the difficulties of...

Is there another car that shares the same serpentine belt with the 1JZ with no AC?
