Ceramic coating isn't all its made out to be here on the forum...it helps but more as a protective barrier than a heat reflector...it's best purpose is to protect hot parts from rust! Heat wrap is far supperior in every possible way when it comes to thermal insulation...mounting a water to air...
If you are running a stock afm then you'll fuel cut like a sob! The stock afm will net you about 260hp give or take....the stock ct26 will cause fuel cut at ruffly 8 pounds....your gt is way way to big for the stock afm...a piggyback won't help you much at all unless you go with the lex upgrade...
Stroking has it's pros and cons....most all big power 2j's are stroked! Stroke has nothing to do with the 7m issues...it's issues are it's age, it's headbolt torque spec, and it's oiling system! Stroking let's you use as much power as each bang will let you instead of wasting expanding gasses...
I say buy the car and forget mods for a bit untill you have fixed/replaced old or broken shit. Vac lines, hoses, brakes, shocks, oil leaks, etc....modding right out the gate can leave you very confused at finding problems! Learn the car before go and blow it up.
that's really friggin strange! Wonder what the story is behind that?!
Also noticed that the trans mount on this car looks diff than most I've seen....damn thing has a big ass bump stop on the back of it.
Need to get ahold of a pressure washer to get the hard to reach areas.

Yeah o woke up at 1:30pm...had some sex...took her home...then started wrenching and drinkin...it's now 12:53pm and I just packed it up for the day...good day indeed!
So what's the common method of removing this thing while the motor is in the car? I can get a stubby 14mm on it but can't get leverage from that! Can I leave it and mount my aftermarket one in a dif location? I see an area near the back of the block that looks like a good spot but don't know...
Lol thanks guys but in all honesty sear, lowes, and home depot sell good tools.
Got my set earlier today at lowes (husky brand)...they cost me $12...head is now already off the car....I was very suprised that this car was pouring white smoke as 1,2,3,5,6 were really deformed (headgasket that...
I say pre 89 just so you don't have to do body work to fill the holes from the previous wing....although if you can source a na hatch then def wingless!!!!!
