I have almost no rust on my car. Only a quarter sized spot on the door where someone hit it. Cali cars are fkin awesome.
My NA on the other hand had a nice rusty pass side quarter and spare well.
I'm a total noob when it comes to painting but my car desperately needs to be painted. I've picked up a new bumper, fender and a few other random items that i am going to switch out with my borken ones.
Anyone have any tips or writeups on preparing the body and painting itself?
My plan...
I like to see mostly stock exerior. Definetly the stock wing. The farthest i'd go with the exterior is bomex rear, sides, and just a lip up front and some wheels. Being a bit lower helps a lot too.
I have to admit, i would take leather over cloth seats, but i'd have to find reasonabally priced nice leather to go for it.
One another note, how do i get the steering wheel off?
I think i'm going to keep cloth.

BTW, i'm probally snaching that dash, as well as the bumper and some other random stuff. Found a diamond in the rough 91 today.
I found some 91 leather seats and i really want leather seats. My cloth seats are in excellent condition tho and these seats are pretty bad.
Question is, would i be able to reupholster these. I don't really know the process or anything, i only know that my friend had it done and his seats...
