Out of curiousity, why would turning the can upside down on the low pressure side destroy you AC system? I've never heard this. I'm not doubting you, just find it interesting.
I do miss the days of going to Walmart and picking up R12 for $2.00 a can.
Dad drives a 97 Chevy 1500 single cab truck.
Mom-deceased:wtc: she drove a 90 Chevy Caprice Classic. Dad still has it and drives it also along with his dads old 76 Ford F150.

86.5 Supra is my project.
This is my first post here in this section. I'm wasted. Jsut got back from 20 year class runion and got smahsed. Still am. We hada fighet break out and every thing. It was great redneck fun. Corona's Rule, oh and also that new beer Miller Chill or something like that, and all the other sh it...
We used to have a 90 Corsica with a 3.1 V6. I could white smoke the front tires. I hate to admit it was a damn smooth running car also, but it wasn't a supra.
Where were we...?
Thanks man!! My GTS was very sweet, slow but sweet. When I got my ass handed to me by a skank with a cig hanging out of her mouth in an old Corsica, I decided to sell and go Supra.
The interior on my 86.5 is 95% better. Thanks for the comments.
Well I found out today that some pre-89's came pre wired for a supermonitor, so when I got home I checked my 86.5 and nothing. Went over to my 87 and whammo, I found the plug. Sooooo, what I am going to do is swap the harness into my 86.5 when I take the dash out to paint it. I've already...
The carpet was very dirty and faded. I cleaned/vac'd and painted. When I take the dash out to replace the body harness, I'll paint it too. It has some discoloration to the top.

After
I also painted the carpet in the door panels.
What's there to be confused about? People change the color of their dash's all the time. I changed the color of my carpet and will freshen up my dash and center console later on. Everybody wants shadow grey so why pay a shitload of money when you get close to the same results for a few bucks...
Um yeah Scott, don't worry about that picture, I took care of it myself:icon_razz Oh, and I did try the Windex. If I would have taken the time to really scrub I think most of it would come off, but I was being lazy. I'll try again tomorrow.
Jonathan, I have no idea what that brown crap...
Some pics of the fixed foglights. I replaced the foglights with the ones off of my 87. I sanded off some corrosion where the bulbs go in and then replaced the fuse and BAM! They work! I don't know why I'm so excited of something so minor but I am. I guess since it will be a while before I can...
Yes. On the door there is one 10mm nut towards the front and it was removed.
Basically want to know if there is a special tool you need because of the adhesive. That's what I had problems with.
Yes, unfortunately. I thought the blue one would work out but I was too worried about the frame. I'll give this white one a try. My engine is still undergoing a rebuild in Dallas. When I'm finally able to pay that off then the real work will begin.
Hope all is well in Colorado.
