ok today i swapped the coil packs out with a friends that are good and didn't change anything. last thing i can think of would be ecu.

how do i check for bad caps?

i'm thinking of going meth on my setup soon but i too only have an safc. would i still make some power gains just tuning the afr's or will i lose power not being able to control timing? if i can get like 20whp or so for now i'll be happy till i can get a standalone/

we could have a similar problem. i noticed mine wont cut out until around 4500 and on up.

did alot of pulls today. i'm going to try to gap the plugs to .020. They are at .025 and not doing any better. I'm running out of ideas. Whenever it cuts out i watch the wideband and it doesn't really go lean or rich when it cuts out. So it seems like an ignition problem or something to me.

is the stock jza70 pump any good or is a walbro better? and yes i'm worried about the 13 afr. I dont want it any higher than 11.8 max, but i cant add enough fuel to get it down there without it cutting out.

i was wondering about fuel pump. when i got my swap it came with a fuel pump so i threw it in, but i have no idea what kind it is. The shop i got it from said it didnt look like a walbro. The motor came with an intake and downpipe so i'm wondering if its some aftermarket pump.

wideband installed yes. wot its around 13.2-13.5 with 10%fuel added with an safc. When i try to add20-30% fuel to get it in a safe zone it starts to cut out. I gapped the plugs to .025 and it seems to help some, but still has issues and can't get passed 20% fuel adding. yea its def not boost...

i'm about to get a meth injection kit and i'm wondering if i'm going to be able to tune it with my safc 1. My car runs on the lean side from my injectors being too small so i was thinking this would be a good way to pick up some power and richen it up at the same time. I know the safc 1 doesn't...

ok cool, i'll give that a try tomorrow. it is running 14-15psi right now. Whenever i go out to do a pull it seems like the first pull or two it doesn't stutter but then the more pulls i do it gradually gets worse. I'll try gapping and we can go from there. thanks guy

i'm having a problem with my 1jz and my friend has a mk3 2jz that is also having the same problem and we can't seem to figure it out. Anytime i am wide open doing a pull, once i hit full boost the car starts to sputter and cut out. It only does it under 100% throttle. i just changed the plugs...

yea its not that comfortable to daily drive but i do it anyways. Most of all the weight is in the seats.

thats very impressive for the civic at only 10psi. I have a friend with a stroked ls/vtec 2.1l thats making right at 680whp @27psi. so i think he needs to turn up the boost since its built. nice kill though man.
