The intent of the group buy is so that shine will make a mold to make the lip from, rather than to receive discount pricing. The part will cost around $200. Perhaps i could get Shine to drop the prie for group buy...

FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) is the same as fiberglass. Shine parts are made of flexible frp. They can also make a lip out of their "super" flexible proprietary material.

I cant even identify 20 pre89 with a lip on their car, whether oem or aftermarket. Busted up or not. Lol.
Seems like the majority of pre89s owners are are contently lipless.
