    New Turbo Elbow

I felt a big difference as soon as mine was on. If you don't have the cash, have your stock one ported. It won't be as good as the LIPP elbow but is quite a bit less expesive. My friend ported one of my old ones for $50. Just do it, you won't be dissapointed...

    Jtamulis Product Review: JT56Lightning

Yes, I know she needs tuning. Any idea how many more h/p I should gain? I have found a small garage that has installed the MAFT-PRO, but will probably have to wait until spring as they are talking snow later this week. So she will go in the garage for the winter. The interior will be redone...

    Vacuum hose issues

My friend who is putting my car back together called today. He wasn't the one who took it apart when the head and turbo were updated. Even though he has the factory service manual, has questions about where some of the vacuum lines go. If any one has a clear photo, web site or has a way he can...

    Inside SupraSports shop

Of course I can't speak for them, but it sounded like they are suppliers for many of the vendors here. They actually make the turbo housings, turbo assembly, Lipp products like the AFMs and turbo elbows. I also got the feeling they liked to sell wholesale. Apparently running SupraSport is not...

    Inside SupraSports shop

I hope it is OK to post this here. If it is in the wrong spot please feel free to move it to correct section. Today I drove to Stillwater and met Jack of SupraSport. I needed a new gasket for my Lipp turbo elbow. I have been in many machine shops before and I can say the place was very...

    Cooler thermostat part#?

I have a new stock radiator. With all the work can't afford the Fluidyne yet. The new JMT Turbo and head work were spendy. Can't wait to have her running. Should be ready early next week.

    Cooler thermostat part#?

Good Evening Guys, I want to run a 180 thermostat in my car. I have read others here do. Does anyone know the Toyota, Napa, or other part #. I tried tonight and the guy seemed pretty helpless, not knowing where or how to cross reference it. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Dan

OK, just let me know a day or 2 ahead of time so I can throw them in my trunk. As far as your ECU, try my friends at Rightaway. They specialize in import car salvage. It's in Big Lake. ALL MN Supra

I just took a quick look. They have been taking up space in my basement. Two have tires, Kuhmos. I will keep them, but the other 2 are ready to go. Both have a little curb rash. Put there by original owner. I have been running the MKIV wheels for the past several years. Let me know if you...

They are off my 87. Never seen snow. I took them off and put on new MKIV wheels. St. Cloud is not far away. On Thurdays, I work evenings at Urgent Care in Monticello. I could throw 1 or all in my trunk. I usually finish at 8 pm or so. Just take them away, no charge. 320-248-3005...

    Insurance adjuster = awesome guy.

I had a similar accident several years ago with my old Nissan Maxima. They really paid out but in the end my insurance went up quite a bit. I can't help but think they got every dollar back over the 3-4 year period before my rates dropped. Good luck on your rebuild.

    Powder coat AFM?

Guys, tomorrow I am taking my intercooler pipes in to be powder coated along with a few other under hood items. Is there any reason why I shouldn't get the afm housing done as well? I would remove the screen, custom screw and the electronics, and have it taped so inside would not be coated...

FPR goes in this weekend, how much pressure??

My buddy and I will be installing my Aeromotive FPR this weekend. How much pressure should we set her at to begin with? I am mechanically challenged so any help or input appreciated. Does Exhaust manifold leak = decreased boost?

Yes, The plan is to take her apart and fix it, power/ceramic coat the intercooler pipes, along with a bunch of other parts. The install my fuel/pressure regulator, air fuel regulator, then to dyno for tuning. I have heard impressive h/p gains with proper a/f ratios. Can't wait...

Does Exhaust manifold leak = decreased boost?

Hello All, I have an exhaust leak in area of exhaust manifold on my 87 Turbo. I first noticed it last fall, now it is louder. According to my search, cracks happen occassionaly but gaskets leaks are more common. We just pulled her out of the garage after a long Minnesota winter and I am...
