Many? Have you looked at the 1/4 mile times thread in the racing section? http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?41973-***SM-member-1-4-mi.-times-list***
I count *one*.
Furthermore, drag racing isn't the best indicator anyway - unless you're building a drag car, of course. Real...
One more thing... a 500hp 7M is not the same as a 500hp 1J. Well, unless you're building a dyno queen, and all you care about is the peak, anyway.
When you look at a dynograph, what really matters isn't the peak number, it's how much area there is under the line. A car with a wider, flatter...
Before you do anything else, jack up the car, slide under there, and make sure the bolts from the driveshaft to the rear diff are on tight. And present, for that matter.

- Weak head gasket. Even when 'fixed' using the MHG route, lots of extra care must be taken, and the material thickness between...
To be honest, I'm ok with the government funded programs dropping off and being replaced by private concerns. IMO the private guys will do a better job anyway. At least they don't spend weeks debating the virtues of a new style of shelf.
This was a great thing... hell, still is, IMO. My only regret is that we seem to have moved away from space to concentrate on kicking the shit out of each other inside the atmosphere again. I fully expected to retire in orbit... now it looks like my grandkids won't even see that.
vBulletin is *the* standard in forum software... but it's not cheap.
phpBB is one of the many free alternatives that tries to keep up. Personally, I'm using one called SMF - Simple Machines Forum. It's easy, has decent features, and doesn't get hammered by many security breaches.
That's the bit. I'll take a blue one... I can paint it while I look for a shadow grey one. :) Figure out what shipping would be to Canada... just slow USPS would be awesome!
