Cometic is good. I had it on my old supra. Its more forgiving than other metal head gaskets. The MM of the HG depends on if you need the head or block machined (which you need to check).

Low mileage turbo car for 8 to 12 grand? Hmmm not much selection. I'd suggest a BMW 3 series but they're not turbo'd obviously. EDIT: And I give the thumbs up for SRT-4's. I like em... as a daily driver.

Upgraded CT26, 550cc injectors, some type of AF management(SAFC), turbo-back exhaust, intake, Walbro fuel pump, FPR, Lexus AFM or MAFT Pro(if MAFT Pro then no SAFC), WB 02 sensor, MHG, ARP studs, Boost controller... 350hp is kinda of that HP that is in between "stages". You will need all that...

YES. I loved the sound of my old car with an open DP. Kinda too loud for a DD though... Its a close second to having a NON-rerouted DDP with 3.5" exhaust, IMO that is the best.
