In clinton its a place called Cooper auto, its on the side of the highway... the only highway, its hard to miss, and way the ferry is a lot closer then...

looks like a nice clean car, 5k sounds a bit steep even with all that work done. However if the head gasket was done right that will save you alot of trouble and or money later.
That would be nice to know, since i don't have to pass emissions where i am at. My bvsv has a broken port and I'd rather skip it then replace it if I don't need it.
How much of the key is in the lock, can you see it? I have pulled two broken keys out of my ford with old dentist tools and the key was pretty far in there both times...

What i was meaning to say is, if you can pull the tranny out and rebuild it yourself at the cost of parts and your time then it will be "cheap". Otherwise your best bet is to find a good used tranny and swap it in. Iv'e never heard of "clutch slipping" being an out of adjustment...
