I need help with the bolt sizes for a few parts since I'm buying new SS ones. On the TSRM, they're posted with part numbers and Googling them does not get me the exact sizes, just more part numbers.
So I need the following:
1) Throttle body to intake plenum (there's 4)
2) ISC valve...
Got a picture of said fuse and specs (or whatever)? So I'll know exactly what to get when I go to the parts shop. I can then google some shots and have an idea on how/where to install it.
You know, you did exactly what I thought about doing after I saw the current condition of the wooden plank yesterday on the car, removing it completely. I'm going to talk to my uncle about repainting the trunk since it's very dirty and needs some stitching.
The whole thing with tiny...
Can't take off the targa top that way though. I'm thinking about placing the battery as close to the back seat as possible, maybe laying on its side (Optimas) and cutting out a section of the wooden panel. Thanks for the wire answers though. I'll pay a visit to one of the nearby sound centers.
Thanks everyone! Specially for the shots of the intake mani. Those were the kinds of pictures I was looking for, exactly. Though the shots of people routing the IC pipes under the headlights really makes me wonder just how close they're cutting it with clearance, but I'll PM IJ for that.
As...
Couldn't find exactly what I need. Can anyone with an FFIM take a picture of the hole they cut out (wherever they did it) where the battery used to be prior to their mod? I am planning on keeping the A/C so I'm relocating the battery and I need a good shot of the hole.
Also, does anyone...
Ahh. I was going to be damn impressed if you made it "magically" clear everything in the way. Still, great job on simplyfying something like this. Going to have to talk to Sethron for those alternator brackets and move the battery to the back.
Any pictures of that? After looking at the JayWay (that's how we should be calling it) adaptor, I can choose between having the battery up front like stock and lowering the alternator, or leave the alternator as-is and moving the battery to the back, and I'm really considering the second option...
I will take a picture of the spray can in a few minutes since the camera lacks the SD memory card and only lets me take one shot. (I'll edit this post), but it's called SEM Color Coat. On monday (and today) I got to see my car after a whole year. The car spent about a year and a half in my...
It's been quite a while since I posted. Thing is I had a lot of personal issues to deal with, but as of now I am officially working on the car again. The plan is to get it moving under its own power within the following 2-3 weeks. I even had to move it out of the building since some cop...
When did I ever say they clashed? Never, of course. My point wasn't even on clashing since I enjoy dressing up in black and white quite frequently. I'll explain since I don't think you honestly read what I wrote. My point was, imagine the interiors COMPLETELY black.... not so entertaining to...
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEverything black? Sounds like too much to me.... but your friends should dress up more frequently. Ever seen anyone wear a white suit with a black undershit that is just slightly shown? Notice how nice it looks?
But black EVERYTHING...
I saw that the other day. Amazing that they even turbocharged it with 2 turbos. I don't like the looks, but it's still great. I was even considering trying this out myself. When it comes to cars, people over here in PR are somewhat..... dense (98% of the population at least).
Ok, just had a quick look inside the car to clarify my suspicion. I guess I'm a bit dense for not noticing that the back, huge bolt that holds on the spark plug valley cover had a thread in the middle. That's why I couldn't figure out, cuz I had never noticed it before.
Couldn't I just...
Not with the coil packs fully bolted in with some brackets he made. I actually read through the whole thread.... though I did it without dinner and was rather dizzy.
I actually have 2 questions I didn't see posted before. I'm sure I know the answer to the first stupid one, but here it goes anyhow:
1) Will the regular 7M spark plugs work or will I need to get a set with the length used for the new wires?
2) Only Tookwik has mentioned how he fastened...
I searched around the site, but didn't find the digital versions of all the guages. Am I just not searching right, or will I have to give them a call?
Also, they do come with white backgrounds as well, correct?
