which manifold would you recommend? I see a few of the ebay ones I could easily get re braced or fitted to my car and wastegate and such? I am just looking for one that will not leave me with boost creep.

Are you correcting my grammar? I'm sorry my lack of spacing on one word can't get my point across to your superior grammatical brains. Or are you saying that the wastegate being a knock off is not going to work? Because I've had 2 setups with knockoff wastegates that worked fine.. I'm not sure...

Setup: 1.5JZ 264/272 cams, ITS 67mm, p-trim, .68ar, ebay 40mm HKS knockoff, drewgo manifold, 3" DP to 3.75" exhaust Is this wastegate big enough to control this turbo? The wastegate seems to hold untill about 5500rpm then it creeps past 20 psi and I let off.

Val, simply modulate the brake as you press the gas building boost and hold it at the desired RPM then mash the gas and release the brake as you hear the 3rd honk :)

So the truck booster clears? I'm very interested in this engine swap and I think you could make it very successful with a full kit as I think buyers can get their hands on a 1UZ more easily and cheaper than a 1JZ. Plus I'd love to see the market for this great engine get more companies making...

Most reclineable seats aren't FIA approved. From the sounds of your setup (8pt cage, 10sec et's) you probably won't be doing much street driving? From a performance standpoint, I am only interested in a hardtop for the weight factor if someone could just provide me that information from my previous post..
