I dunno what I'm gonna do now. I think maybe the reason it blew was because of not re-torquing. So I'm gonna fix it again and make sure to do the re-torque.

Same exact thing JUST happened to me. ARP's and stock HG then 2000 miles later (aka today) the gasket blew again. I think I'm going with a cometic this time. I am also not touching the block except for making sure it is reallllllly clean. I had a cometic and ARP's put on my old blue one and just...

It's because in this case it's ironic that the guy is complaining about how people have "no clue" and then he proceeds to type things that make you say "wtf?".

Well honestly I haven't even tried to solve the problems cause I'm away at school and only drive it every once and awhile. I think the first issue MAY be timing since it hasn't been timed since the HG and the second issue is prob. just the fluid in need of changing.
So I'll check the timing...
Ok so I was thinking today about why I hate driving my car.
Issue #1:
My car slightly shudders and bucks when in 1st and 2nd gear and the rpms are below 3k. (Think stop and go traffic type situation)
BTW my car idles at around 600 but its choppy. Maybe a timing issue?
