Filling in the holes in the engine bay is just a matter of welding up the holes (small ones with just welding, large ones with pieces of sheet metal). Grind down the welds and use a thin amount of Bondo to make the area perfect so that you can't tell that the panel has been modified. I didn't do...

That's how I look at it Dave. Yeah my scar has gone hard. Cool thing is that it's quite visible when I work so it does help I think with getting tips when I deliver pizza.

Small update, had to replace my faulty TPS today. With any luck I'll be taking it home next week :)

So long as you have the chain of custody (bill of sale to the guy you bought it from and then the bill of sale for you) you should be fine. That's how I got my current 87 Supra when it was a shell and hadn't been registered in a couple years.
