I push a streightened out coat hanger under the carpet on each side of the console, run power wires on one side, rca's on the other. hardest part was drilling a hole in the firewall. a right angle drill really woulda come in handy.
maybe I would have found out what was wrong by now, but it looks like its gonna be a pain in the a** to get that starter out. i found a writeup on how to remove it and it says to unbolt the front crossmember. I'm trying to find someone closeby with a supra that might be able to help just in case...
lol, thats alot of miles and doesnt look too bad from the pics i see. my chassi has 92k on it and its darn near mint so i didnt want to cut anything if i didnt have to. it sure would have made the box fit as well as build a lot easier if i didnt have to try and work around that darn spare tire...
