To be honest, I doubt there will be much of a difference. The stock brakes are more than capable of locking up the wheels, unless you're running R compound tires. Not to say that you can't improve them, but the characteristics you'll be looking for are less fade over multiple hard brake passes...

You'll need a GTE bottom end, the pistons and knock sensors are different, and the GTE also has oil squirters aimed at the bottom of the pistons to help keep them cool. The manual swap isn't that difficult. You should pull the engine and tranny anyway, so you'll have everything out of the car...

Between the various guys in the office, I think they've used them all. One of the guys just recently picked up the cupholder one, for crying out loud. The only thing in common is probably the suction cup mount, I think they all have one of those.

Ram mounts are very nice, top end products. A fair number of the guys here use them.

The hot start problem is from heat soak boiling the fuel in the fuel rail. If you don't suffer from enough heat soak, or if it's cooled just enough for the fuel to condense, it doesn't happen. The system to prevent it does so by showing a higher pressure to the FPR, which increases fuel flow...

How many times has it done this? A couple could mean the ECU is still learning. More than 10 and that's not an option anymore. Have you checked for codes?
