This is true, you're gonna need a new exhaust manifold either way, just dont give in to the urge to crank the boost without the supporting mods and tune.

If your trying to save money, do some research on holset. They are found on cummins turbo diesels making them easy to find and relatively cheap. Theres a fair amount of guys running them, and theres a good chance I will when I get to that point. Hopefully some of the guys with them will chime...

Pull your injector clips (plugs) one at a time. Run the car, it will run on the other 5 cylinders. If/when the noise changes or goes away, you likely have a bottom end problem with that cylinder.
