Who all from Michigan is going to the Indy meet on May 8 & 9?? It is a great time, if you have never been there please review the thread for it. It would be great to get a good turn out from Michigan!!
Just to add, check to see if the red light in the door comes on. If it does and the over head doesn't it is the circuit board behind the dome lights. Mine had some cracks in it, so I soldered jumper wires to by-pass the cracks.
Stock fogs lights, at least on mine, have one screw and the other side has a lip, and this takes off the metal ring. After the ring is off then the light itself comes out with one wire attached. Disconnect wire, unclip bulb from light housing and then go put back together in reverse...
I now have both days off and wont have to be back to work until that following Friday. Been trying to get details completed, car should be in pretty good shape, got some touch up paint, and windshield replaced, also finally a new radio and speakers that work. Now the 3 hour drive wont be so...
My .02 --- Do your homework, research many different Supras, some are in better shape than others and will cost more. Ask yourself what do you really want out of it?? Daily driver, speed demon, something to be proud of. Each answer of it self will cost money. For me, I bought mine in 1993...
I know Raptor Racing was making the lower front windshield cowl in CF. $25.00 bucks more that than the OEM part, it won't rust, won't have to paint and it looks cool too.
I love reading stuff like that. I was at a dealership looking at a FJ Cruiser and the sales guy was total shocked that he did not hear and squeaks or creaks from my car when I pulled in.
My car came with a second key, that still started the car and unlocked it, however it did not unlock the glove box. It is a valet key. So if it doesn't lock or unlock the glove box, then you know what you have.
OMG I cringed looking at it. I agree, you can not slap on stickers and add on a few zeros. AND, and if it was so well maintained why the BHG?!?!!? I will shun anyone who buys this thing. LOL
The 1uz supra in the vid, funny to say is a buddy of mine in Michigan. I actually sounds much better in person than on the vid. And it looks more impressive in person too. It would not be a bad swap, I have even considered it, however I will be going 2jz-gte some day.

Wow, it is great to see this thread is still going after so long. It is awesome to see all the pre-89 bumpers. The first and the best mk3 supra bumper!!
