well on my 17x8 I am running a 225/45 and on my 17x9 i have 235/45 so hopefully that helps you ha

I had 17x10 for my rear and i needed fender flares. I think 8.5 for the front will fit perfectly fine, if your going for "hellaflush".

I wouldn't, I did some research on the F1 type that mounts in the car. Well they are heavy and alot of work, personally I think they are a waste of time and money.
