I don't see them not making power with a lobe as big as he offers. The describtion seems like the product is well made, in terms of reliability, and that is my second to main concern.
I am surprised, to not see more folks using them, as cheap as they are.
It's held in a top secret location...
In my opinion this video depicts EXACTLY what's wrong with the car world. Post #3 comin in hot. But good for your buddy, and the DSM crowd.
I bet it was good seeing him again, he probably had you gagging all night...
The video is a classic, i'll show it to my kid's and share a laugh when the time comes. All the while, your the one posting a trash "DSM" video on a die-hard Toyota forum.
7m's are prone to this as you may already know. I haven't seen much of this condition in regards to the 2Js but it should be fine. I have been rebuilding a lot of Honda engines including the newer K and F series, most of which have light gouging as well and none have had failures. Tell him to...
Aaron, thank you for your response. I understand this uncovered, misconception. This is a perfect example of how a play on words, completely changes the perception of a simple operation. I will be posting regularly in this thread, as documentation of my experience with the 4424 unit.
You seem to have a decent grasp on this, thanks for posting. I hope the high idles are not going to cause engine bearing issues upon start-up. I may have to fabricate myself a oil accumulator.
I have posted this question on multiple forums, and have received no more than a shrug, so I began my search for an answer. I found multiple articles, and even dug up some lecture material covering the subject from my college. Here is the low-down:

So I have owned the 4424 unit for a while now, and I'm about to install it on my street car. I have been reading up on the fuel injector operation with this unit, and it seems to be confirmed that ALL 6 injectors will be fired simeltaineously. I am having a hard time convincening myself that...
I have found that most of the general public does not recognize my car, but at the local strip it's a different story. Folks love it, and I usually never even catch a frown(with the exception of the FWD crowd). The mark 3 seems to carry it's performance superiority in incognito, which helps when...
That's nice to know!
I was not very concerned with the engine not being original, more so as to why the thermostat housing was swapped. I will be hunting down the A/C sensor wire, and a new housing to try and remedy my A/C problem.
The 9th digit was suggested to be the difference on carfax. The 9th is an 8 on the chassis, and 4 was suggested on the engine VIN.
Also the last 7.
Chassis: 0031421
Engine: 0042108
Ok, I purchased my '87 targa car about two years ago under the impression that it was all original. Upon review of the coolant ports on the thermostat housing, I discovered that there is no "3rd" port on my housing. My A/C has not worked since I bought the car and now I know why. The A/C coolant...
I've only run my 7M in the 1/8th, and the 7M making the runs in the videos is spot on with trap speeds and E.T.s for a BPU Mk3. The my best was a 9.23 at 78mph in my first targa. Put some Mickey Ts on that bitch, and sink into the eights!
P.S. 1J is for pussies!
