I am trying to hook up the power brake booster vacuum line from my 91 MKIII to the Soarer 1JZ-GTE. The connection is supposed to be on the end of the intake plenum (from the few pictures I could find), but it is not there on this engine. Is there anywhere else to pull the vacuum for the booster?
Thanks for the detailed wiring update. I will look up all the changes and see where I am at. Already have the tach adapter, but the instructions are not particularly useful in this instance. I have the tach wire isolated from the bundle, figuring I will have to splice in somewhere.
unfortunately the two black wires on IK2 have no continuity with each other. Dang. Haven't had much luck finding a pinout on the soarer stuff. also, I got a tach adapter, but the instructions don't cover this application. Any link to someone who hooked it up?
Thanks, I'll get that hooked up. Any idea about the fact that there are two black wires on the IK2 connector? I couldn't find a pinout so I could figure it out.

Well here's the scoop. It is a soarer engine. I am almost done with the wiring, but have one or two questions on the Soarer harness into a MA71 sticky. On the EBI connector, does the blue wire have to go all the way down to the AC? It seems to be using a heavier wire off the compressor. Also, on...
As far as I know it is a soarer engine. It does have a rear sump. I will check out the site you mentioned. It is a 91 MKIII. Any way to confirm the engine type?
The wiring information out there seems to be different from what I am running into. A little different on the MKIII side, but a lot different on the 1JZ side. Anyone got some detailed info. that would help?
Hi Gn_convert,
Thanks for taking the time to respond. This should be the information I need. The motor is in, and now the "fun" work begins. This engine has a lot more electronics than the old NA engine had. Thanks for the Tach info also. It all helps.
Regards,

I am looking to install a Soarer 1JZ-GTE into a 91 Mark III Supra. The old NA engine is out and we should have the new one in this week. Wiring looks to be a challenge, to say the least. Anyone know what's involved here?
