thanks for all the...
I went out for a moment and d/c the afm plug. Put one multimetere pin on the brown plug and the other on the other wires with the IGN on. got some numbers that way. tsrm says its 4-6 is legit. I got about 4.99 to 5. yea I know about the ecu being reversed. Found that out when I hooked up my...

Im able to start the car and the idle is good. When I give it gass I bog down around 2k. Problem goes away when the car reaches normal operating temp tho and I am able to drive normally. wich leads me to it being a wire problem.
howdy.
I know the afm off of a ls 400 is compatible with the 7m, correct?
but what about the connector? am I able to use the connector and wires off of a ls 400 AFM and splice that into my existing 7m?
thanks.
anyone know were I can get the stickers for the Tems "normal / sport" and ect button? Without replacing the entire button? I've seen a few buttons but would rather just have some new stickers made up.
I know a few guys on here make stickers but nothing that small. Anyone have any ideas or...
I unplug the negative battery terminal and let it sit for a few seconds but still no catch. it would blow a fuse before It did any sort of damage I would imagine (hope)
I accidentally put a jumper into E1 and +b instead of Te1
now my check engine light dosnt come on when I turn the key and the car won't turn over.. Battery comes on. starter is working but it won't catch.. Is there a way to reverse this? what sort of damage have I done.. Oh noes.
--> not a hijack <-- I have a new o ring and dust cover gasket for my cps but ive been dreading replacing it because timing isn't one of those things I really want to mess with. But those 2 links are extremely helpful and explained in such a way that It made me feel confident to give it a try...
^ agreed. being as this is my first 7mgte that I've ever worked on. engines in general really. I found it extremely ez to work on.. compared to other import cars. Fing Front wheel drive eclipse my mom owns is a pain in the ass... F Mitsubishi, crap cars.
^ true story. slap it on and set it rich wont ruin anything driving around for a day. but its not recommended. Waite until you can go standalone or have your wideband gauge installed so you can see exactly what your ratio is doing.. helpful tip also is to install your wideband before the mods...
trace amounts of oil inside the inlet hoses is common.. not something to flip out about. I will say your turbo is leaking oil. but suspect the white smoke is getting burned off from a leak some other place.. if your turbo was leaking the oil it would be a bluish color coming out on...
looks sorta cruddy.
it happens from time to time if you had a severe leak or your reservoir went dry that they would "stick" open. you can smack it or just replace the reservoir. there inexpensive and cleaner then the one you have now =)
