Would never advise against upgrading brakes. Imo would drive a little more cautiously, do the engine upgrades get it reliable, then do brakes. In that order. (unless your money tree is blooming) I had the G35 sixspeed w/Brembo's. At 27k car needed pads and rotors. Quote was %#@$%@# crazy...
